I am an image-maker, ballet dancer and educator based between New York, Providence and Jamaica. In my photographic practice I turn the camera toward myself and those I am actively trying to understand as a way of reassembling memory; not as it is given, but as it might be felt otherwise. As I progress through my life I understand that my heart protects me through forgetting and so I make to remember.

With this knowing that growth and fracture are often always in parallel through the process of reflecting, I am interested in tenderly constructing a world that is a careful expression of the possibilities of healing. Building, nurturing and sustaining community has been the grounding pillar of my life, and I am devoted to continuously sharing my experience.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Design from The New School.
